Funeral arrangements were made at the
G.H. Hogle Funeral Home
(click on "Online Condolences" and search for "Ouellette").
The visitations were scheduled at the G.H. Hogle Funeral
Home from 2-4pm and 6:30-8:30pm on Tuesday August 1st.
The funeral service was a "Mass of Angels" service at the St. Leo's
Catholic Church at 277 Royal York Road in South Etobicoke (a 5 minute
walk from the funeral home). The service took place on Wednesday
August 2nd at 10am.
After the funeral service, there refreshments were served in the basement of
the Wesley Mimico United Church at 11am. The Wesley Mimico United Church
is located at 2 Station Road, which is just down the street from the
G.H. Hogle Funeral Home (at the corner of Mimico Ave and Station Road).
You can park in the parking lot for G.H. Hogle. To drive or walk from
St Leo's church to Wesley Mimico church, go south on Stanley Avenue,
and then turn right at the stop sign onto Station Road.
After the refreshments, we drove Joséphine to the
Rosemount
Memorial Gardens cemetary in Peterborough where she
was buried at around 2:30pm, at the head of the burial plot that
will eventually be used for her grandparents (Ruth and Terry Hunter),
and that is next to her great grandparents and other Bolton relatives.
We felt that she would like to be laid to rest surrounded by family.
Refreshments were then served at the
Hunter Farm
(Joséphine's grandparents' farm), which is just east of
Peterborough.
Everyone was welcome to attend all or part of the above activities.
