Skill Drill 5: High Speed Shooting

Purpose

To develop high tempo skating and accuracy shooting.

Description

Players line up behind goal line and skate figure 8 and receive pass from coach for one time shot.

Key Teaching Points

Head up, good balance, and quick release.
