Skill Drill 11: Passing Warm-Up Drill

Purpose

To get feel of puck and one touch passing down ice.

Description

Players skate pattern as in diagram.

Pick up puck at far end and one touch pass to other end.

Key Teaching Points

Keep head up.

Short one touch passes.

Variations

• Can skate backwards and pass on backhand.
