1999 Women's Asian Winter Games

General Information

From January 30th until February 4th, 1999 the 4th Asian Winter Games was played in Kangnun, Korea. For more information about the games, please see this link: http://www.kangwonasiad.or.kr/eng.html

The following four countries competed in the women's hockey competion at the 1999 Asian Winter Games. The format of the championship was a round robin competion, where each country played against each of the other countries. China placed first, winning all 3 games, while Japan was second, and Kazakhstan was third.
