The map below shows the locations of the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, St. Leo's Catholic Church, and Wesley Mimico United Church. It also indicates our house at 23 Station Road. The written directions below are for how to get to our house, but you should be able to use this information and the map below to get to the other facilities that are being used.

o Exit the Gardiner at Lakeshore West (note that there are several Lakeshore exits... this exit is the one just after the South Kingsway Exit). o Follow the off-ramp down under the Gardiner, and turn right onto onto Lakeshore Boulevard West (Westbound). o Follow Lakeshore to Mimico Avenue (this will be the 5th light; the last light before Mimico is at Superior; there is a Beer Store on the corner of Mimico & Lakeshore), and turn right at the light onto Mimico. o Follow Mimico to Station Road and turn right (this will be the 2nd street) o Follow Station to house #23 (we're the 4th place on the right). [Going back, you will not be able to retrace your route because Mimico is a one way street. Instead, turn right out of our driveway, turn right at Stanley, turn right at Superior, and left onto Lakeshore West (Eastbound).]

o Exit the Gardiner at Islington South, turning right onto Islington Avenue (Southbound). o Turn left at the first light onto Evans Avenue (Eastbound). o Follow Evans until it ends, and turn right onto Royal York Road (Southbound). o Follow Royal York until Stanley Avenue (this is the second street after Royal York goes under the railroad bridge; there is a yellow overhead crosswalk at Stanley), and turn left onto Stanley (Eastbound). o Follow Stanley until the stop sign at Station Road (this is the second right), and turn right (Southbound). o Follow Station to house #23 (we're the 9th house on the left). [Going back, you will not be able to retrace your route because Stanley is a one way street. Instead, turn left out of our driveway, turn right at Mimico, turn right onto Royal York (Northbound). Also, you cannot get onto the Gardiner Westbound at Islington, so when you are on Evans Avenue, you will continue past Islington to Kipling, and from there you will see signs to the Gardiner Westbound.]

The bus runs every 15 minutes or so. The walk to our house from the bus stop takes about 4 minutes. o Take the Bloor-Danforth subway to Royal York Station. o Take Royal York South S (bus #76) - it will be to your left as you come up the escalator/stairs up to street level (don't exit the station, since the bus comes right into the station). o Stay on the bus until Mimico Avenue (you will go by Queensway Ave, over the Gardiner, under a railroad bridge; it's the second stop after the railroad bridge - you can ring the bell as soon as the bus clears the stop by the crosswalk). When you get off the bus at this stop, there will be a No Frills grocery store on your right. o Cross the street at the light and walk along Mimico. o Walk to Station Road and turn left (this will be the 2nd street; the first one will be Elizabeth). o Follow Station to house #23 (we're the 4th place on the right). [Going back, you can take the bus from the corner of Mimico & Station. The last bus leaves Mimico & Station at (approximately) 12:31am, and arrives at Royal York subway station at 12:45am.]

GO trains run every hour. They arrive/depart GO-Mimico usually at 54 or 56 minutes past the hour, depending on direction of travel. The walk to our house is about 8 minutes. o Take the Lakeshore West GO Train to Mimico. o From the platform, walk down the stairs to the tunnel, turn right, follow the tunnel and go up the stairs. o Turn left just before the doors leading into the station, and exit. o Follow the path to the stairs that lead down to Royal York Road. o Turn left onto Royal York, walk under the railroad bridge, to Stanley Avenue (this is the second side street after the bridge; there is a yellow overhead crosswalk - but no need to cross the street:-) o Turn left onto Stanley, and walk to Station Road (this will be the second street, the first street being Elizabeth). o Turn right onto Station and go to house #23 (we're the 9th house on the left). [The last GO Train for downtown leaves at 11:54pm and arrives at Union at 12:07am; last GO Train for Oakville leaves at 12:56am and arrives in Oakville at 1:20am.]

Rosemount Memorial Gardens is located in the south west corner of Peterborough.
People coming from the downtown Peterborough area should take Lansdowne St., West. Turn south onto Highway #7. Turn left (east) at the Peterborough bypass. The entrance into the cemetery is immediately to the right on the service road known as Whittington Drive.
People coming from Toronto should take the 401 east to the 115 north (exit 436). When you see the sign for Port Hope (highway 7), exit the 115 and go north on hwy 28. Turn right (east) onto North Monaghan Pkwy and then immediately turn right (south) onto Whittington Drive and you will see the sign for the memorial gardens (note that Whittington Drive and N Monaghan Pkwy are parallel roads).
