Bridget Bates's Home Page
I am a 9T9 Master of Divinity Graduate from St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto. I completed my BA in English Literature and Religious Studies at St. Jerome's University at the University of Waterloo in 1994. I graduated from Holy Name of Mary high school in Mississauga in 1989.
Now that I have completed school, I am a photographer.
Some of my hobbies include writing poetry, playing ice hockey, drums, and sleeping :-)
I played ice hockey for the
University of Toronto Varsity Blues
women's hockey team in the OUA/CIAU. I retired after my fifth sesason with
the Blues; I also played club hockey with the Mississauga Cheifs,
Peel Storm and EVZUG.

After I played ice hockey in Switzerland, I travelled to Africa. I played hockey for a women's team in Switzerland called EV Zug for the 1996-97 season. Here are some pictures that were taken during my season in Switzerland:
After my hockey team's season finished in Switzerland, I continued on to Africa where I visited Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Botswana. I spent most of my time living with friends in Zimbabwe. Here are some pictures that were taken on my trip:
I have published my first book entitled Growing Up Slowly. It is a collection of poetry written from the ages of ten - twentyfive. I am selling this book for $10 (CND) each, so please contact me (see address below) if you would like to purchase a copy.
