Tournament Information

Greetings Adult Women's Ice Hockey Teams and Leagues,

The Women on The Edge (WOE) ice hockey team, a member of the Women's Association of Colorado Hockey (WACH) has reserved ice for a women's 
adult hockey tournament to take place this summer in Littleton, Colorado.

This notice is being posted to determine the level of interest in participating in this exciting tournament! We hope to have teams 
participate from a number of different states as well as teams located in Colorado.  Please read the information below for details about the Meltdown at The Edge summer hockey tournament.

Dates: Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13, 2006 

Location: The Edge ice arena, a state-of-the-art facility located in beautiful Littleton, Colorado (large, clean locker rooms with 
showers and bathrooms :-) 

Situated very close to the foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains where fantastic adventures await you.  Extend your stay to 
visit our wonderful state!  Tourism information will be available soon.  

Number of teams: up to 16 

Divisions: two women's divisions: novice and intermediate; possibly one coed division: novice 

Number of games played: minimum of 3 per team 

Consolation and championship games for all divisions 

Awards for 1st and 2nd place in each division 

Events: Meet & Greet on Friday night; Tournament Party on Saturday night 

Goodie bags for all players  

Qualified referees, officials and scorekeepers 

Lodging deals 

Cost per team: $750

We need your help in determining level of interest for tournament participation.  If your team may be interested in participating

meltdown06@att.net.  Also if you know of other teams that may be interested please feel free to forward this email on to them.  We also would be happy to place individual, free agents on teams if players are needed.

We will do our best to answer any questions you may have but please note we are only in the preliminary planning stages of the tournament.  We hope you will participate in this exciting and fun 
women's hockey tournament!
