                                             Novice/Mite, Atom/Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget     u12 girls first time in tourney





The Baltimore Ice Dogs will be your hosts for the 2006 Cross Border Clash. 

Your team will play 4 games, with the fourth being a championship game at their determined level ( as dictated thru pool play, crossing over to another equal team in the opposite pool)

 

Hello my name is George Quigley. I am President of Baltimore Minor Hockey. Baltimore is a small hockey center in Ontario, Canada. We are located 1 hour east of Toronto, and 2 min. north of Cobourg. Which sits on the shore of Lake Ontario.

   I had a brother move to Evansville Indiana. I thought it would be a great experience for the kids to play some International Hockey. So we packed up a team and went down. It was as much fun for me as the children. To watch their faces as the two anthems played, the pin exchange, and a lot of fellowship.  Baltimore went to Evansville once more. Then we went to Michigan, and spirits were as high as ever. This lead me to the idea that many more teams that are not in an elite division would benefit from such a Tournament.

Hope to hear from you, and see you in March, for a fun and exciting time. A little travel for a life time of memories…

 

  So we are in our 8th year and have met some great people. Last year we hosted 48 hockey teams 24 from the US, 24 from Can. US states involved were Dallas Ice Hawks Texas, Pennsylvania, Missouri, <>New York,  Wichita Kansas , Ohio,Baltimore MD  and Virginia. 

The Tournament is based on fellowship, and the love of the game. 

  Most teams are returning so spaces will be limited, but we want to offer the experience to some new areas. We play out of 5 local arenas within 15 mins of Baltimore. We can get another arena and expect to see our final year of growth to cap our tournament at aprox. 60 teams.
