Previous teams include teams from California, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Connecticut, Delaware,plus representation from almost every girls organization in Ontario. "The original girls spring hockey tournament" U-10,U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-19 divisions Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam, Midget and Intermediate at the AA, A and B levels Also Elite AAA division for NCAA, CIAU and Senior AAA players Individual, group and team entries Womens divisions..June 24th, 25th,26th, 2005 in Toronto Womens house league, recreational and competitive divisions House league for beginner teams and competitive is Sr C/B level Same format both weekends!!!! Discounts on hotels, vehicle rental and to Hockey Hall of Fame Our age groups are based on CHA age groups for the 2005-2006 season Atom 95-96 Peewee 94-93 Bantam 92-91 Midget 90-89-88 Intermediate 87-86-85-84 In Ontario, we have five levels of girls rep hockey; AA, A, BB, B and C We realize there is some differences in the USAHockey age groups, but we can resolve any problems by the seeding of the teams in their tiers. Each age group has Tier I(AAA,AA), Tier II (A, BB) and Tier III (B and C) Ideally, eight teams accepted per division, divided into two groups of four. Teams play three games within their group. Championship semi-finals are 1st vs 2nd cross-over Consolation semi-finals are 3rd vs 4th cross-over Winners in championship semi's advance to championship final Winners in consolation semi's advance to consolation final With the four game guarantee, we have always had to move one or two teams from one tier to another after the second game of the tournament. All games are held at the same four-rink complex...Chesswood Arenas The arena has pro-shop, restaurant, snack bar etc. It is centrally located in Toronto , approx 20 minutes from the airport and five minutes from the host hotels. Hotel rooms are approx. $95Canadian per night ...four to a room. Discounts also available on vehicle rental through Budget and to Hockey Hall of Fame Standard format for teams traveling a great distance, (ie Colorado, California etc) is arrival Thursday or Friday. We can arrange pre-tournament exhibition game or practice on Thursday evening or Friday morning. Tournament games start Friday at 2pm...but teams may request no Friday games. Teams should play their three round-robin games by Saturday at 8pm. Semi-finals Saturday evening or Sunday morning. Finals Sunday between noon and 4pm Any special scheduling requests can be accommodated. This year requests for application forms have come from British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, PEI, Alaska, Florida, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. We like to confirm the "traveling teams"by May 1st, so we know how many local teams to allow.
