Tournament Information

SOUTHERN ALBERTA SELECTS Major Female Team
ELITE FEMALE 'AAA' INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT 17th to 21st May, 2001
The Southern Alberta Select Female Team are to hold a 'AAA' level
International tournament for mainly Under 19 age level and we are actively
seeking overseas teams to participate in this event, alongside teams from
North America.
Calgary is the home of Team Canada and also has the Olympic Oval Female high
performance program based in the city. Many of the local players that will
be involved in the
tournament are also members of this elite program. Our coaching staff are
involved at the highest levels of Female Hockey and are full time
Professionals. I attach a copy of there credentials.
We curently have Select teams, with many National team players, being
formed
in Switzerland, Austria and the UK. We are also actively in discussion with
Select teams from Germany, Norway and Japan.
We therefore anticipate the tournament will be of a extremely high caliber
and is sure to attract significant attention.
I would be grateful if you are not interested, if you would forward this
onto to any suitable Female
Team that would be interested in entering a Select team. I am able to
discuss age Limitatioms if required.
