NORTH SHORE HOCKEY - Player and Team Development Programs SUMMER 2005 ICE HOCKEY SEASON North Shore Hockey is pleased to announce its 12th annual player development programs for the 2005-2006 Hockey Season that are designed to provide an opportunity for all players to develop and compete at various competitive levels. North Shore Hockey Player and Team Development Programs are open to all individual boys and girls and teams from all ages and skill levels. North Shore Hockey was established in 1989 as an organization dedicated to the development of hockey players as both individuals and team members. Our programs emphasize the benefits of hard work, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm towards the game of hockey. We offer creative play in a structured, learning environment and our players are encouraged and expected to develop their academic and social skills as well as their physical skills. Our staff includes USA Hockey coaches and instructors, many who are also teachers in the private and public sectors, experienced at various levels of individual and team development from youth hockey to professional. Girls Spring & Summer Leagues And Skill Sessions -Provided by Mike Geragosian (BU Goalie Coach and Director of USA Hockey Goaltending-Massachusetts) and staff including USA Hockey and local high school and college coaches and instructors. NORTH SHORE * MITE * SQUIRT * PEEWEE * BANTAM * HS/MIDGET & COLLEGE TEAMS -Summer NS Knights Teams – Open placements for all levels of individuals boys and girls Enhance your current hockey program throughout the spring and summer with additional hours of individual skills, team practices, and games. Individual placements on teams at all levels for both boys and girls including Mites, Squirts, Peewees, Bantams, Midgets, High School and College. Join players from yours as well as other town and select programs on one of our North Shore Knights spring and/or summer teams to be the best you can be for the 2005/2006 ice hockey season. North Shore Knights teams compete at various levels against local city and town teams. INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM SKILL SESSIONS Work on individual skills such as skating, puck handling, shooting, passing, face-offs, goaltending, defensive and offensive skills plus conditioning. Team skills include breakouts, defensive and offensive coverage, backchecking, forechecking, two on ones, three on twos, and more. Sessions held at various rinks in the North Shore/Merrimack Valley area. Goaltending instruction provided by Mike Geragosian (BU Goalie Coach and Director of USA Hockey Goaltending-Massachusetts) SUMMER LEAGUES North Shore Hockey offers summer league that include a minimum of ten games per session. All games are played according to USA Hockey Rules and consist of USA Hockey registered individuals and teams. Open to both whole teams and individuals, boys and girls, at all levels including Mites, Squirts, Peewees, Bantams, Midgets, High School, and College. Most summer league games are played at the Burbank Ice Arena in Reading, MA beginning in April and ending in September. HIGH / PREP SCHOOL PRE-SEASON CAMP (Fall 2005 - Hallenborg Rink, Billerica, MA) -Provided by Mike Geragosian (BU Goalie Coach and Director of USA Hockey Goaltending-Massachusetts) Goaltenders/Forwards/Defensemen get ready for the high school season with a four-day/two hour per day (one hour for forwards and defensemen) directed by Mike Geragosian . Camp includes goaltending, shooting, puck handling and skating skills as well as conditioning.
