Bear Paw Hockey Camps 2004 Philosophy Bear Paw Hockey strives to empower each student with hockey fundamentals and the confidence to use these skills. Through innovative instruction, we put the emphasis on learning and having fun. Staff Bear Paw instructors have extensive backgrounds in teaching, coaching and working with children and young adults. House League, Travel, and Elite players will all benefit from the four day camp. Head Instructor Eric Penn, Former Coaching Director for Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association. Coach Penn captained his University of Illinois Fighting Illini to two consecutive National Tournament appearances. He then successfully coached the Illini for three more years, as the Head Assistant. Eric has taught high school biology and has coached high school football and hockey. Eric's day job takes him to Glacier National Park, where he is a biologist working with Grizzley Bears.
