Goalie School Information The Steve Carroll Goalie School is offering a weekend program for girls high school goalies in Minneapolis, Minnesota October 25-27, 2002. We're also offering a variety sessions for girls and boys in April, July and September. In all sessions, goalies are taught the basic fundamentals along with advanced techniques in an upbeat and enthusiastic atmosphere. The three-day, six-hour sessions are specially designed so goalies who have chosen to play this important position receive the personal attention and quality instruction they need to help reach their potential. The school, now in its 8th year, is directed by Steve Carroll, who has 21-years of goalie coaching experience, and in one of the top goalie instructors in the Midwest. As player, he was a two-time All-American goalie at Minnesota State-Mankato (Minnesota), a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award and was recently honored as the school's Male Athlete of the Century. Sessions are held at Richfield Arena, just minutes from downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America. Programs also are being offered this year at Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena in St. Paul and All Seasons Arena in Mankato, Minn. Girls high school session for goalies 14 and older. Other sessions for girls 8-17, boys 8-14.
