Bear Paw Hockey Camps 2001 Philosophy Bear Paw Hockey strives to empower each student with hockey fundamentals and the confidence to use these skills. Through innovative instruction, we put the emphasis on learning and having fun. Staff Bear Paw instructors have extensive backgrounds in teaching, coaching and working with children and young adults. House League, Travel, and Elite players will all benefit from the five day camp. All Programs run Monday through Friday. Director- Eric Penn, Coaching Director for Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association. Coach Penn captained his University of Illinois Fighting Illini to two consecutive National Tournament appearances. He then successfully coached the Illini for two more years, as the Head Assistant. Eric has taught high school biology and has coached high school football and hockey. Eric is currently pursuing his Master’s in Education. Head Instructor- Chad Cassel, Head Coach, Illini Hockey, Coaching Director for Champaign-Urbana Youth Hockey Association, Instructor of Kinesiology at the University of Illinois, Select 17 Midwest Head Coach 2000. Former Indianapolis Jr. Ice Defenseman, Former Illini Defenseman and All-American Las Vegas Ice Garden, August 16-19 Mini-Mites Morning Camp 9 and Under 13 and Under 14 and Up Elite Camp Goalies receive a $50 discount!
