The Janesville Ice Arena will host a "Learn-to-Play Hockey" camp for beginner players ages 8-12 in April. Basic hockey instruction including skating, stick handling, passing. We will also have an intermediate level clinic for women and girls of all ages with instructor Bob Leitza. Bob teaches stick handling schools all over the United States and currently works with all of the Petit Selects teams in Milwaukee, WI, including the girls. We will host an all ages beginning hockey clinic in mid-july, and have open practice sessions for women and girls of all ages and skill levels throughout the summer. The purpose of the sessions is to give players individual time on the ice to work on their skills. Coaching is not provided at these sessions. For more information about the Women's Hockey Program or the clinics listed above, call Patty at 608-755-3014. Full hockey equipment is required of all players. Equipment rental is available for an additional fee. All clinics range from $50.00 to $100.00 and last a maximum duration of 2 to 6 weeks. Practice sessions are $5.00 per session.
