The Edge Of Excellence instructs and trains hockey players how to skate with more explosive speed, quickness, and agility, and how to apply these skating techniques in game situations. The camp runs for four weeks in july in Kelowna, BC and four weeks in Winnipeg, MB in august. The age groups go from 8 years old to 17 years old and there is a junior pro group for advanced players. The cost of the camp is 435 canadian for one week and 625 canadian for one week of the junior pro camp. The head instructor is David Roy, who had worked as a skating coach for three NHL teams, Canada's National Team, Canada's Women's Olympic Team, and has conducted camps in North America for over 30 years.
