It.s called : THE TORONTO LADIES LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY LEAGUE. Location : ICE SPORTS SCARBOROUGH From : October 1998 to March 1999 (Saturday Evenings). It's a twenty two week program with the first 6 to 8 weeks being a learn to play component with the remainder of the season being games and playoffs. There will also be a 20 week instructional program that will run inconjunction with this new Ladies League for those who do not feel comfortable palying in an organized league in their first year. The program is open to ladies 16 years of age and up. Instruction will be led by a Level Three Instructor who is also an adult educator with a coaching resume that includes Women's International Hockey as well as Junior B and various levels or boys and girls coaching and instruction. The cost of the Toronto Ladies Hockey League is $ 285.00 for the season including sweaters.
