1999 IIHF Women's World Championship Pool B Qualification

The following games were used to determine the ranking of women's hockey countries for the 2000 IIHF World Women Championship Pool B.

This qualification tournament took place in two groups. Group A played a round robin tournament between Hungary, South Africa, Italy, and Great Britain. Italy had the highest total points, so has been promoted to the 2000 Pool B World Championship.

Group B was a round robin series between Kazakhstan and DPR Korea. Kazakhstan won the series two games to three, and as a consequence has been promoted to the 2000 Pool B World Championship.

This year there are also Women's World Championships for Pool A and Pool B.
