The 1995 Pool A Women's European Championship took place from March 20-25, 1995 in Riga, Latvia. Finland won the gold medal, Sweden the silver, and Switzerland the bronze. Latvia was regulated to the Pool B European Championship for 1996. Russia will move up to Pool A for the 1996 European Championship.

LATVIA is relegated to Pool B and will be replaced by RUSSIA.
Look out Pool A, Russia are well prepared, and I don't think Finland's dominance will last out when they arrive. They have spent 4 years training in preparation for Pool B and have their sights set on the Olympics. They were Training & Living together for 5 days a week 52 weeks a year for that time, and are a female equivalant of the Big Red Machine.
