This championship was originally supposed to be a Four nation cup that would include the USA, but decided not to compete due to the uncertainty of flying, so soon after the events of Sept. 11th.
The 2001 Three Nations' Cup was held in Finland from November 2-6, 2001. The three countries that competed in this event were Canada, Finland, and Sweden.
