Canada clinched first place on Monday December 14th with their 4-3 win over Team USA. This was the second title for Canada in the short three year history of the 3 Nations Cup. Team USA won the 3 Nations Cup in 1997. Canada finished the 1998 Three Nations Cup undefeated at 4-0, Finland finished the tournament at 0-4, while the USA finished 2-2.
