USA hosted the Three Nations' Cup Tournament from December 12-20, 1997 in Lake Placid, New York, USA. Three games were played in Lake Placid, NY, two in Canada (Ottawa and Belleville), one in Saratoga, NY, and one in Burlington, VT.
Congratulations to Team USA for winning the Gold medal by defeating Team Canada by a score of 3-0 in the championship game on Dec 20th. After round robin play, USA had a 1-2-1 record, Canada a 4-0-0 record, and Finland had a 0-0-4 record.
