2003 Women's World Inline Hockey Championship
The second Women's World Championship for Inline Hockey will take
place in Pisek, Czech Republic from June 21-25, 2003. This event
is hosted by the Fédération
Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS).
There will be 10 countries competing in the World Championship this year. These countries are seeded according to the final national team placement at the 2002 FIRS World Championships, using a serpentine placement for equality of the groups. Teams not participating in 2002 will continue the serpentine in alphabet order according to the English name of their country.
The top 4 teams from each pool (total 8 teams) will proceed to the Quarter Final Medal Round, using a single elimination competition. Losing teams will play on to achieve final placement in the standings.
