The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is proud to announce that at the AAU Junior Olympic Hockey Championships in Raleigh, North Carolina, AAU Hockey for the first time ever will be hosting All-Girls divisions at the Junior Olympics. The 2002 AAU Junior Olympic Hockey Championships will offer competition in two girls' age divisions: 12-and-Under and 16-and-Under. The exact tournament format will be determined based on the number of teams participating in the event. Team entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until each division has been sold out. The AAU will also present the first All-Girls division All-American team at the Junior Olympics Ladies Follow in the footsteps of Americas top female athletes like Cheryl Miller, Keri Struggs, Jackie Joyner-Kerseee , and thousands more by playing at the AAU Junior Olympics. Entry Fee $695.00 4 Game Guarantee (Most teams will play 5-7 games) Age Divisions 12u - 16u Admission Is Free For All Hockey Fans The AAU will present the 2002 AAU Girls All-American Hockey Team at the Junior Olympics AAU Junior Olympic Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper medals are presented to each player from the top four teams.
