Championnats de hockey féminin de l'Europe, division B

From March 11-17th 1996, the European Pool B Championship was held in Slovakia. The 8 teams competing were split into two groups. Games for group A were held in the town of Trnava, and games for group B were held in the town of Piestany.

Denmark won the gold medal at the 1996 European B championship, and will be promoted to the European A championship for 1997.
