Year's Overview

The team has been centralized at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid since the fall of 2000. Their schedule mainly consists of games against the teams in the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).

Team USA took on Team Canada at the 2-game TSN Challenge series at the end of January. The first game took place in Red Deer, Alberta, and the second in Denver, CO during the NHL All-Star weekend. Team USA scored with 20 seconds left in the first game to win by a score of 5-4. They claimed the series by winning the second game by a score of 3-2.
