1995-96 Women's Hockey National League Championship

The leagues have not come to the end yet but the playoff pools have been made up. The two best teams in the Stockholm Division I League (Vesterhaninge IF and FOC Farsta) automatically qualify for the semi-finals. One team will play in each semi-final game.

Two groups (with 4 teams in each group) will play in round-robin games to determine the other two teams that will play in the semi-finals.

The first group was made up of the #3 and #4 teams in the Stockholm Division I league and the #1 and #2 teams in the Northern League. This group is called the North-East group. Games for this group were played from March 2-3 1996 at the Nacka Ishall.

First Group (North-East):

FOC Farsta (#3 in Stockholm Div I)
Vallentuna BK (#4 in Stockholm Div I)
MoDo HC (#1 in Northern League)
Vilhelmina IK (#2 in Northern League)

The second group was made up of the #1 and #2 teams in the Dalecarlia league and the #1 and #2 teams in the Southern League. This group is called the South-West group.

Veddige HK (#1 in Southern League)
SK Winno (#2 in Southern League)
Brynes IF (#1 in Dalecarlia League)
Ore/Orsa (#2 in Dalecarlia League)

Vesterhaninge, Nacka, Farsta and Veddige qualified for the semi-finals. Vesterhaninge and Nacka qualified because they were #1 and #2 in the Stockholm Division I League. Farsta and Veddige qualified by winning the round-robin semi-final qualification.
