General Information

The Lakefield United Church is located on Regent Street in Lakefield. If you'd like to check out a service at the Lakefield United Church, the services take place at 11:00 am on Sunday Mornings. There is usually a coffee hour after the Sunday services where you can meet other members of the church while having a cup of coffee or some juice. It's a cool place -- check it out if you get a chance! :-)

The Lakefield United Church U.C.W. (United Church Women) held an innovative program on October 18, 2001 inviting all the women of the church to dinner and an evening thinking together about women's participation in the church. Eighty women of all ages and stages attended. Here are some pictures showing the dinner and the candlelighting.

The following pictures show before and after shots of Thanksgiving Sunday at the Lakefield United Church. All ages participated in the service. Young people hung pictures that had been coloured by the congregation on the arbour. Presiding and preaching that Sunday was Kathleen Addison.
